We all love fashion from one extent to the other, every city has its EMO’S, MOD’s wannabe MOD’S, Indies, Try -hards, All saints types ( those horrible army boots and pants that make you look like you’ve pooed) but only one place can  give us Susan Boyle, yes Scotland. Before you start, this blog is not about slagging of the Scots and their style, I would need a novel or a collection of short stories to illustrate the styles North of the boarder.

No! This is about our need in the creative industry to take something that was quite comfortable being itself and turning it into a jumbled mess that looks out of place and frankly weird. At least the way Susan looked before we knew what she was, she had her niche.  I don’t know about you guys, but she is no more appealing to me now than before, so my question is, do we style for the sake of it? Does it make us feel more comfortable or do we just like to see progression?
