What are we saying on this one guys?

Berghaus it appears have launched a new collection of collaborative outer wear for this season, the brand have been working with Jeff Griffin, best known for his  underground military prints. The brand also claim to be “Ethically conscious” with their use of Gore-Tex, a fluoropolymer membrane that ‘breathes to allow moisture to remain outside the garment.

We have many fans of the Berghaus brand here at MFN they are renowned for producing high end quality outwear  that is wearable and not driven by trends which always gives each product a sense of superiority in the market place.

Now, back to the main issue the collaboration! Above you will see the result of a brand rich in heritage collaborating with a ‘young’ ‘urban’ designer to bring the brand into the 21st century.

Why do brands do this, what’s wrong with old, isn’t that why people buy it, because of what it represents. Don’t get me wrong I do like some of the new Berghaus X Griffin collection like the PACLITE, but do we need it?

We put it to you guys, what do you think Hit or Miss?

All of the products from the Berghaus X Griffin collaboration range are limited edition, and will be available from selected retailers and online at www.griffin-studio.com.
