Cocktails and Catwalks

As the festive season draws ever closer,  Thursday  saw channel M’s Gemma Gofton of the Style in the City programme deciding to give a ‘little’ thanks to Manchester’s fashionista’s. Held in Manchester’s Circle Club the event /all night party begun with, shall we say different kind of fashion show? Guest s were treated to a catwalk show styled and choreographed by none other than MFN’s Nicki Gillon. The outfits were taken from the Generals stores A/W collection, including Ringspun and Religion.

The show its self went down without a hitch as the models strutted their stuff, as the show closed  as if out of nowhere we were presented with street dancers, shaking their proverbial’s to the crowd to the delight of some of the male audience. The mob were then coursed into salsa dancing and more free cocktails then you can shack a stick at. There were one or two familiar faces in the crowd, including Vicky Martin and Ziggi. However my piece de resistance was meeting the cult classic Suggs of Madness, who took time from his Birds Eye adverts to enjoy the festivities.
