The ‘Blue’ blooded turn up on the night!

Henri Lloyd much like the phoenix rose from the ashes of the former Disney store in St Ann’s square last week, as Manchester’s finest fashionista’s strutted down the red carpet.

The opening night held in conjunction with Manchester Versus Cancer, greeted guests at the door with a choice of champagne or vitamin water for all those who have not fallen off of the Christmas wagon yet.  You were then met with some thumping classics, spun by none other than Chris Brook’s the Courteneers tour DJ.

As the evening’s festivities ensued, those in attendance included John Robb the broadcaster and journalist as well as Galaxy radios Rob Ellis and not to mention the guest of honour Mr Henri himself. Guests were also treated to an exclusive sneak peak at HENRI LLOYD’S new range HL Jeans Co. A smaller range aimed at a more youthful market including styled denim and graphic tees.

After the usual introductory schmoozing it was time for the high light of the night, with a very special performance from the Blue Tones who performed classics such as ‘Slight Return’ and ‘Bluetonic’.

As the night drew to a close at around 9:30, even though the event was due to finish at 8:30 which only stands to signify the good time everyone was having.  As if the free drinks, goody bags and performance treat weren’t enough, guests were invited down to the VIP Inner Circle room in the Circle Club for a full night of partying on HENRI LLOYD, much to the delight of the crowd clambering to get their VIP wrist band.
