It’s a Thursday evening and every media hack and journalist in the North West has descended on the Barton Arcade for the Autumn/ Winter/ store Launch for Jeffery West. Me being me, forced my way to the front of the queue (on your behalf may I add) to interview the man behind it all Mr Guy West. Many of you may not have heard of Jeffery West as it a very much niche shoe shop nestled in the back streets of St Ann’s Square.

The store has been there for just over a year and from what I hear, has a very loyal and deep pocketed fan base, ranging from footballers to club owners. In terms of a press event the evening went down well with Manchester Confidential, LIVE Manchester, Chimp and the Daily Mail all present and accounted for, all enjoying the constant supply of free vodka.

When it comes to the shoes they don’t get much better, the new stock is in store now, get yourself down there and treat yourself these are shoes that will last you a life time. We here at MFN give JW the thumbs up.Back to the chit chat, after being introduced to Guy ‘again’ the first time we met 12 months ago and I was a bit little worse for wear so was hoping he didn’t remember me. After the meets and greets, he then ushered me in to the back of the store for the interview too proceed.
