On Tuesday 16th Of June, at 7.30pm, Manchester will be treated to the crème de la crème of new talent from MMU final year fashion students. Students from the BA (Hons) Fashion course at MMU will be holding their final year fashion show at the Triangle, Exchange Square, Manchester. The students will be showcasing a diverse range of mens and womenswear, from their final graduate collections (which are also currently being shown at Graduate Fashion Week). 

A few weeks ago The Manchester Fashion Network attended Beat Mode (see gallery for pictures), Manchester Metropolitans Universities second year fashion students final year fashion show. This one off event saw students hire out the Ritz and fill the catwalk with elaborate styles from couture designs to wearable high street designs, all embroidered, draped and fitted to high standards. So when MFN got an e mail asking if we would support MMU final degree students’ end of year show,  after the impressive collections from the second years, we did not think twice. 

Manchester Metropolitan University is one of the most sought after and well established Universities in the country and holds a reputable reputation within the industry. Therefore it’s not surprising that most of the talent that comes out of the fashion Department go on to work for luxury brands like Dolce & Gabbana, High Street giants like Arcadia and US brands such as Abercrombie and Fitch. 

So for all you Brands and Designers out there who are looking for fresh talents, journalist looking to get a great story or students who are looking at fashion courses, don’t miss out on this fab opportunity to catch a glimpse of some of the newest talent to come from the North West.
