Festivals, Fashion, Men in Make up, right?
By Natalie Shaw
As the festival season hits full flow, our dedicated fashion spotters have been noticing the re-insurgence of the new romantic male, yet reincarnated in the forms of electro, drum ‘n’ bass and house music.
You may ask what am I talking about? Well here it is, this summer we have noticed a barrage of male performers and front men deciding to opt for a bit of facial armour. Thankfully this new wave of body art has been inspired by the more tasteful side of the 1980’s with musicians giving the heads up to Roxy Music, David Bowie and Ronnie Wood.
After conferring with people on the streets on of Manchester, they have given the thumbs up to the newly ‘dolled’ up look for our male pop stars. We scoured the web and our wall planners and found some of the best examples of the new look, including Kissy Sell out, Tiga, Keith Flint from the Prodigy, all performing at this year’s Global Gathering, in Stratford Upon Avon on the 24th & 25th of July.
We want you to send us pictures and names of male stars that you feel are getting the look right or wrong, email: email@example.com
The MFN team will be attending Global Gathering this year and we will bring you the low down upon our return, who wore it well, and who is just a no no!!!
