Full Circle Spring/Summer 2010 Collection
Full Circle launch their Spring/Summer 2010 collection, in which selected pieces will be exclusive to Selfridges stores.
The collection sees a more youthful and directional spirit to the Full Circle collection. Strong wardrobe-builders sit along side contemporary fashion pieces, designed with intelligent and creative cuts that transcend day-to-evening. Detailing continues to be paramount to the collection, whether it’s external or a hidden treat.
Three strong themes resonate across the collection; 90’s Deconstruction, Form and Function and Urban Glamour.
Colour and Prints
The colour palette is grounded by cold and neutral tones of black, iron, indigo, mineral, white and silver, combined with warmer neutrals of khaki, nougat, porcelain and pale gold. Shocks of lily pink, pacific blue, sea green, lemon zest and ember highlight the range.
Urban Glamour
This look is about ‘Urban Armour’, rough metallics, sheer panelling and hi-shine materials are layered and draped for a slinky feminine look. Edgy architectural angles mixed with exposed zips, fringing, sequins and studding translate to a tougher take on glamour.
90’s Deconstruction
Deconstruction is combined with 90’s styling to create a versatile casual look with a unique Fullcircle feel. Garments have an unusual twist to their story; a long line trench may zip off to become a crop jacket, or a skinny pencil skirt may become a mini or even a boob tube dress.
Form and Function
Fullcircle have focused on accentuating the contours of the female silhouette to create a hard and sexy look that celebrates the female form. Body con dresses and skirts create curves with ribbed waistbands, taping and exposed zips. Key pieces include a shark fin washed leather jacket with triple zip detail, a body con dress with rubberised print and a bustier jersey playsuit.
High Summer
The high summer collection is fresh and feminine. Bright floral prints adorn angular hem hourglass, kimono and beach dresses, harem trousers and tulip skirts. Jersey is given bold direction with floor length sport maxi-dresses with fire red, beige and orange block colour and contrast stripes, and Fullcircle’s signature linen pieces take on a youthful edge with belted peg leg trousers, playsuits and exposed zip detail bubble skirts.
