Brighton Fashion Week

Here at The Fashion Network, we like to keep an eye on the rest of the country's new designers, not just Manchester based talent. So, when I heard that Brighton Fashion Week, the best place for the most creative and exuberant designers, was back again, it was time to check out some of the designers taking centre stage this year.

Jez Eaton began her career with burlesque and moved onto costume design, then ending up in Ibiza with her then husband. She has now returned to Brighton and found her calling. I love the creative, costume aspect of Jez's work, the unique use of discarded items such as plastic bags, rubber gloves and umbrellas are perfect to poke fun at the recycling wave sweeping the nation.

Jez had an evening show at Brighton Fashion Week dedicated to her work entitled 'Trashion'.

I have been following the work of Studio 805 for the past few seasons since they showed at London Fashion Week with Vauxhall Fashion Scout. The designs are incredibly creative, fun and thought provoking yet oddly wearable.

Playsuit Parlour

Playsuit Parlour cater for the playsuit and romper suit lovers out there, this season mainly focusing on beach cover ups and easy to wear summer clothes. These immediately wearable pieces caught my eye above the other designers featured in this show.
