MFN is proud to reveal that 25 Ten Boutique, the ladies fashion retailer situated on Cheetham Street in Rochdale, have been shortlisted for ‘Drapers Young Fashion Retailer of the Year’. Having been established in Rochdale for less than three years, this is an incredible achievement.
Drapers is the leading weekly business-to-business magazine covering the fashion retail sector. The Drapers Awards, now in their 20th year, bring together more than 1,000 industry leaders to celebrate and recognise the achievements of the most innovative and passionate fashion retailers and brands in the UK and Republic of Ireland.

The identity of the winners are kept confidential - even from the judges - until the big night on the 17 th of November when the prizes are handed out at a glittering ceremony at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
Kelly Turner-Mitchell, Director of 25 Ten Boutique said of the news, “In a couple of weeks, the Boutique will be celebrating its 3rd birthday. To be acknowledged so soon as one of the UK’s best young fashion retailers by the industry is humbling but makes me immensely proud of what we have achieved.”

Kelly Turner-Mitchell of 25 Ten Boutique told MFN about preparation for the awards; “We worked extremely hard with our submission for Drapers. I am hopeful that our vision for the future will impress the judges. With so many brands and high street retailers competing in what is an already overcrowded marketplace, I made a conscious decision earlier this year that there would be no homogenous high-street looks moving forward. Our focus now is on those labels that have been conceived, designed and priced to serve the space between the catwalk and the chain stores whilst providing that individuality, exclusivity and offering something a little different. The ethos being independent retailers need to have a unique offer, great service and something a little bit different from the high street not only to survive but thrive. Increasing the collections of small up and coming British designers to cement is my passion and provides a further exclusive draw to the Boutique. This approach will also sit well with the ‘own label’ college collaboration as that comes to fruition something again I am extremely passionate about. There are also a number of exciting plans afoot for the Boutique which I will reveal on MFN in due course.”
MFN would like to wish 25 Ten Boutique the best of luck for the awards.
