What's Happening in Manchester City Centre?
Spar on King Street West is being rebranded to Londis.
Armani is now open at The Avenue at Spinningfields. Love how they have used the cladding of the store to create advertisements for Armani.
Work going on behind the blue banners, for the Oliver Sweeney unit at The Avenue.
LK Bennett at The Avenue opened on Friday 17th September and Nicky Clarke opens on Wednesday 22nd September.
The work going on in the former Nicky Oliver unit is for Manchester Evening News customer enquiry office.
Work to create to the new footpath alongside Flannels at The Avenue has now started.
The corner unit that had the reserved for Brooks Brothers banners around it, has now had them banners taken down and generic The Avenue ones put up to replace them. They will be coming down again soon though for All Saints to fit out their store here.
The glazing is now starting to go up at the refurbishment of the podium building at Manchester House at Spinningfields.
Franklin's Deli are now open underneath the Leftbank apartment building at Spinningfields.
William Hill on Deansgate has now started to be fitted out, with quite a clever marketing ploy.
The Biba Boutique is now open on the first floor at House of Fraser.
David Clulow have opened a concession on the ground floor at House of Fraser.
M.A.C have opened a temporary concession on the ground floor at House of Fraser.
Shout are closing there store next to Card Factory and relocating to their new larger store opposite Clas Ohlson in the Arndale.
Big at the Arndale now all fitted out, looks like it will open either the end of this week or the start of next week.
Hoardings have gone up around the former FM Boutique unit in the Arndale.
Looks like the Comet store in the Arndale is going to be one of their first stores to get refurbished to their new look.
Wilkinson in the Arndale opens in December.
Both Millies Cookies unit in the Arndale are being refurbished.
HMV on Market Street has been refurbished to their new look, also an Orange concession has opened on the ground floor.
OSKA Menswear are now open on High Street.
Betfred are now fitting out in the former HSBC unit on High Street.
Looks like the refurbishment of Debenhams on Market Street is now complete.
Mace are opening a new convience store at Manchester Victoria Station, they will open in late October early November.
The former Nicky Oliver salon underneath 1 Piccadilly Gardens is being worked on.
Vodafone have closed their store at Piccadilly Station
Gap Outlet is now open at the Lowry Outlet Mall.
