The Fashion Network are proud to announce our North by North West, Ten of the Best list of the absolute best in fashion from the North of England.

TFN called for entries from throughout the fashion industry, both online and off, to find the ten best in their field.

Among the judges of our shortlist was Loretta Roberts, Creative Director of WGSN Boutique. Roberts told TFN:

“there is such a rich culture of creativity and craft in the north and this initiative really helps shine a light on that and I hope will encourage shoppers to go out and explore these extraordinary stores and support these designers and creatives. What was also so inspiring was the entrepreneurial spirit; so many people who have set up their own businesses to do and sell what they love and you have to wish them every success.”

Alongside Roberts: Wayne Hemingway, Drapers’ Keely Stocker, Jo Hooper of John Lewis, Luisa De Paula of mywardrobe.com and many more industry figures sorted through the entries to find the top ten: emerging brands, fashion brands, own brand online retailers, vintage stores, independent retailer, stylists/make up artists, photographers and bloggers.
