Gorgeous Couture harness the power of social media very well and interact with customers on both Facebook and Twitter. They re-tweet positive comments and pictures posted of clients in their dresses as well as thanking them for buying, creating a personal and friendly communication between brand and consumer. Facebook also follows this strategy as customers can tag Gorgeous Couture in pictures of them wearing their dress, which are then available to comment on. Gorgeous Couture comments on these, posting a link to the exact dress that the customer is wearing.
This allows people browsing to go to their online store and take a look at the dress themselves.
When celebrities are pictured in Gorgeous Couture dresses, they post these pictures on to both Facebook and Twitter, endorsing their brand further. They are also often featured in weekly fashion magazines and images of the pages where the dresses appear are also posted online. This links the different types of media together and allows them to build a bigger platform for brand promotion.
