E-tailing group, The Hut, launched MyBag.com in 2010, a site specialising in handbags and accessories. The site has gained a well-known space in a very competitive online market.

From clutches to backpacks, every style of bag can be found in the site. MyBag.com offers a wide selection of brands including mid-market brands, like Mischa Barton and Eastpak; as well as luxury brands, like Ted Baker and Penelope and Parker. This variety allows the customer to find a wide range of prices, from £10 to £450. Despite the whole site having proven to be functional and attractive, MyBag Vintage deserves a special mention. This section displays models from designer’s brands like Furla, Gucci and Celine with prices ranging from £50 to £600.

The navigability of the site is outstanding. Despite the great number of options it is very easy to look through the different items. The search options include browsing by category, brand, occasion and trend.

Another important characteristic of the store is that it offers a Free Worldwide Delivery Service. This has become an indispensable feature in ecommerce. According to ComScore, 78% of consumers think that free shipping is very important when decision time comes to make an online purchase. In this regard, statistics of the National Retail Federation also forecast these phenomena, as 36.3 percent of customers are willing to spend more online if shipping is free.

Undoubtedly Mybag.com has become a reference point in the online fashion retailing. Mostly this is due to two characteristics: 1) it has an accessible, yet aspirational offer and 2) the tempting free delivery on all purchases.
