Out & About: What’s Happening in Manchester City Centre
Starbucks is now reopen at Piccadilly Station, the store has been refurbished and extended with more seating now in the former Perfect Presents unit, the store is the first in Manchester City Centre to get the new store look and company logo.

Supernova has closed down on Piccadilly.
Greggs is now fitting out the former Jewel Nation unit at Piccadilly Gardens.

Julia Hair and Cosmetic has relocated over to their new store in the former Flava Fashions and Eastern Block units on Oldham Street.

Lomography has opened in the former No Angel unit on Oldham Street.

Primark on Market Street is being refurbished, a majority off the ground floor and first floor is now closed off with hoardings constructed; part off the lower ground floor is also closed off too.

H&M on Market Street is being refurbished. A big part of ground floor and first floor is all closed off behind hoardings.
Hawkins Bazaar has closed both their stores in Manchester on Market Street and inside the Arndale, due to the company going into administration.
Scaffolding is now going up around the former Schuh and Noise units on Market Street, looks like work is in full swing for the flagship store development.
Jewel Nation has now closed in the Arndale.

HMV has now closed in the Arndale. The store has been stripped of all the HMV fixtures. Cult is due to open here at Easter.
Barratts has closed down in the Arndale due to the company going into administration.
The Sony Centre in the Arndale, has closed down due to the company owning the store going into administration.
Greggs at the Arndale opposite Aldi has been refurbished.
Cafe Blend is now open at The Triangle.

Limited Fashion has opened in the former Lambretta unit at The Triangle.
Lakeland at St Ann's Square will be closing at the end of January for their store refurbishment.
The refurbishment of the ground floor at Selfridges continues, with more space having been revealed. A new entrance area has also been created at the Exchange Square entrance with new open display cabinet’s greeting the public as they walk into the store now. The Chanel boutique and a new watch boutique are still being fitted out behind their hoardings and are due to open in early 2012. Also part of the new shopfront is now open in the mall between M&S and Selfridges, with the rest under hoardings for the Chanel fit out.
Hoardings are now up around the future Suttons & Robertsons store on King Street.
Hoardings are now down around Virgin Money on King Street, they are due to open in February.
Every Occasions on King Street West has been refurbished and rebranded to Hallmark Cards.
The pop up village has now closed at The Avenue, just Glamourised still open.
David Wayman Flowers is opening at The Avenue in the new unit next to Oliver Sweeney.
