Womenswear brand Mononoko will be hosting their launch party at the General Store on Thursday 5^th August from 6.30pm.

The evening will see Mary Ononokpono the brains behind the brand, host a party to mark the launch of her collection, going into the General Store.

Mononoko is an ethical fashion label, which was born out of the need for fair and greater transparency, within the apparel industry. From African prints to oriental influences and Greek subtlety, all collections are uniquely fused together trough print, texture and embellishment. Recently shown at S/S London Fashion Week this will be the first time anyone will get a glimpse of many new items, from Marys collection.

On top of Mononoko main line collection she will also be introducing UNPLUGGED. A diffusion range solely specialising in sustainable jersey pieces, which has been designed in collaboration with some of Manchester finest illustrators and MCs(who will also be attending on the night)

Currently stocked in Shoreditch, East London the General Store will be Mononokos first Northern outlet.

On the evening we’ll have drinks for all attendees, Mary will be showcasing her collection on live models and Urban Decay will be on hand to talk all the ladies in the room how to create the perfect party look.

DJ dialogue will be entertaining party goers with his electric beats and soulful sounds.
