- Christina Parr - Fashion Designer – Rare
Christina is designer for popular highstreet womenswear brand Rare.
Rare is a women's boutique fashion brand. The Rare style is influenced by both the catwalk and celebrities - creating on-trend looks. Rare have done collaborations with pop stars The Saturdays and can often be found on the pages of glossy magazines such as Grazia and Look.

- Laura Fray – designer – Visage Group
Laura has over 7 years experience predominantly working for high-street fashion suppliers, supplying for retailers such as Next and New Look.
Skilled in designing formal embellished jersey products for the company, Laura works closely with factories across the world ensuring her designs are created to the highest spec.
Now the design manager on the Marks and Spencer’s team for Visage, Laura leads the design process for the ladies jersey wear for the high-street giant. 
- Lisa Stannard - Designer - Lisa Stannard
Since graduating with a textiles degree Lisa has worked for Lily Allen, Matthew Williamson and MTV’s Whitney Port, designing illustrations and everything from clothes tags to fashion show backdrops to dresses.
Her career took off in 2010 with Whitney Eve, since then she has worked in New York and Los Angeles helping Whitney’s vision come to life through her unique abstract prints and bold colour combinations. Lisa divides her time between her long-distance relationship with Whitney Eve and various freelance commissions, which have included ASOS, Miss Selfridge and Victoria’s Secret.
She regularly draws catwalk collections for Amelia’s Magazine and recently illustrated for high street fashion chain Oasis’s ‘O Collections’ style magazine in association with the creative design agency Mill Co.

Our Future Generation series kicks off with Design...
Are you the next Matthew Williamson? Have you got high hopes to make it in the world of design? It is an area studied by many, but not conquered by all. Whether you want to design for a brand, supplier, design label or you would prefer to become a product developer or garment technologist, it’s a tough industry out there.
If you know you have got what it takes and just need a few inside industry hints and tips, come and listen to our panel of experts chat about their experiences and about how they made it in the industry as they give their advice of how to ‘make it’ in today’s tough climate!
