This very special fundraising party, in partnership with Harvey Nichols Manchester and Cheshire Life, will give guests a chance to view modern and vintage couture and will feature some extraordinary fashion pieces by British Nigerian designer Duro Olowu, who has an array of  A-list fans including Michelle Obama. With live music, fantastic African inspired fusion food and a fashion presentation from Harvey Nichols it promises to be a glamorous and lovely evening.

The Gallery of Costume houses the second largest clothing and fashion accessory collection in Britain, including items from Balenciaga, Givenchy, Christian Dior, Lanvin, Chanel, Balmain, Chloe and Yves St Laurent.  It contains over 20,000 fashion items from the 17th century to the present day and continues to collect pieces to enhance the collection, recently acquiring an Audrey Hepburn haute couture fuchsia pink evening gown from 1967 by Givenchy.
