Karen Millen hosted an Exclusive Shopping Evening at their Regent Street store in London last night. With exclusive styling from the Design Team, guests were given top advice and styling tips. Also on hand was top make-up artist Jack Saundercock. Guests enjoyed the complimentary drinks and canapes whilst listening to the sounds of guest DJ Goldierocks.Photography by Zoe Hitchen

MFN have been conducting a live trends project with the Design Studies cluster from the University of Salford.
The brief instructed students to conduct and exhibit a set of thorough research. Once all avenues had been explored produce a number of trend predictions based on the research that had been collated.
The trends did not have to be fashion specific, the aim was to take into account global and local issues.

- Nick Ede – Creative Director – EdenCancan. Nick Ede is now currently one of most influential people in PR *PR WEEK 2008 and 2009. He is a well known and highly regarded expert in celebrity, fashion and lifestyle having worked with some of the biggest names in the world. Being incredibly business minded Nick runs a successful PR and Lifestyle agency in London called EdenCancan which last year was nominated for Agency Of The Year 2008.
- Steve Beale – Fashion Editor – FHM. Steve is currently in charge of all clothing coverage in FHM having worked in the mens magazine industry for years. He started his career at Sleaze Nation moving on to spend considerable time at Arena and Homme Plus, before joining FHM.
- Darryl Collis – Director – Seesaw Media. Darryl Collis is co-founder of Seesaw Media one of the UK’s leading branded entertainment agency specialising in feature film and television product placement. Representing an international portfolio of clients, Seesaw work closely with film studios and costume designers to help create the look of some of the world’s most recognisable characters, in such films as “Mission Impossible 3”, “The Departed”, “The Dark Knight”, “The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button” and most recently “Nine”. Seesaw also work with their clients to maximise their on screen exposure at the films release.

February 2010 sees the launch of Stitch, London’s first dedicated menswear and accessories tradeshow, who come with the aim of bringing the buying culture back to the UK. Stitch Menswear is set to be London’s answer to Bread & Butter, presenting a platform for buyers and industry professionals to navigate, explore and identify brands, aswell as acting as a key meeting point for brands, buyers, press and retailers.
The selected brands are set to reflect the culture and philosophy the show. The exhibitors are will be split into 3 brand categories:
Denim - will consist of jeans brands; and those in tune with the spirit of denim.
Edge - Innovative, edgy brands that deliver classic or contemporary style.
Energy - Authentic brands that are inspired by sport, music and performance.
The selected brands have been chosen to offer visitors direction with their complete versatility and
extensive premium product mix.

Karen Millen hosted a Dresses & Cocktails event at their Manchester store, to celebrate their collaboration with stylish Italian liqueur brand Disaronno.
On hand were style and beauty experts Nick Ede and Lisa Eldridge, to give advice and styling tips. Ben Reed world renowned drinks and bar consultant was there to create delicious Disaronno cocktails for guest.
