We Will Frock You - August 09

On Sunday 16th August MFN teamed up with Walrus to host the very first 'We Will Frock You'. The event gave the fashionista's of Manchester the chance to swap their unwanted clothes with those of others. After arriving with their old clothes guests where able to leave with a new wardrobe... for free! As well as the promise of fantastic clothes, there was a selection of sweet delights on offer in the form of wine and cupcakes, which along with competitions and live entertainment, helped create an unforgettable day!

Pure Womenswear London

This week Olympia London saw the return of Pure Womenswear London, and ourselves at Manchester Fashion Network were there to take notes for you. The show did not fail to disappoint, the show saw a 9% rise in visitor numbers making it the highest attended Spring/Summer show ever! As always the catwalk shows were extremely inspirational and trend presentations as informative as ever!
Eve Launch Party

The Best of Manchester Awards 2009

The Russchains were in town this week to celebrate Manchesters finest creatives, designers and musicians at the annual Best of Manchester Awards 2009. Amoung the VIP Guest list included industry legend Peter Saville and the Galaxy Radio team. Manchesters fashion folks enjoyed an evening of live music and supplied with the drink of the moment Schweppes Russchian.

The exclusive event took place in the minimalistic northern quarter bar know as Walrus, where guests were taken into a psychedelic basement away from camera lenses and prying eye to party on.Our close friends over at Schweppes Russchian towers provided guests with free cocktails all night, guests were also treated to a selection of the finest Japanese canapés. Goody bags were also given out courtesy of Damaged Jeans, Duty Free Clothing and the General Store

The Manchester Fashion Network was in the thick of it again this week, as we attended the VIP DV8 search for a covergirl party in Manchester, the exclusive party was sponsored by Schweppes Russchian, the drink thats perfect with vodka.
Vintage Threads

This May saw the launch of Vintage Threads Fashion and accessories market, in the fashionable basement of Manchesters Cicle Club.
The day was overflowing with vintage treats dating back from the 1900's all the way to the retro styles of the 80's, shoppers were entertained by Strangerways DJ's Brooksy and Macca, photographer Matthew Comer was on hand to snap the event and if all the vintage excitment got too much for shoppers, they could relax witha cocktail cuurtesyof Schweppes Russian 'perfect for vodka'.
