Elvis Jesus is a premium British brand and our products are sold exclusively in independent boutiques, Harvey Nichols and Selfridges. Due to business growth EJ has an opportunity to recruit a print/graphic intern with multiple skills.
Based in city centre Manchester, this is a 5 month unpaid placement, but with a possibility to become a permanent professional post for the right candidate.
The candidate must have very good knowledge of fashion trends, surface design, illustrations and the ability to work within a fast paced environment.
Print Designer - The Candidate
You will work well individually and as part of a team, be IT literate, and have excellent time-management, encompassing the ability to adhere to strict deadlines and prioritise workload. You will be enthusiastic and display good written and verbal communication and liaison skills.
-Interdisciplinary skills: Graphic and prints/textile/surface design/cads
-Proficient with Adobe software (Photoshop /Illustrator)
-Some experience in the fashion industry.
-Ability to create 2d and 3d surface design and textures.
-Excellent illustrative and hand drawing skills.
-Well organized and be adept at working cross-functionally.
