Our client has been established for over 20 years, and are very solid financially. They have developed close relationships with our major clients on the high street and are looking for a Junior Import Merchandiser to join the team.  The ideal candidate will have a placement or have worked for a year within a fashion importer or retail head office. 

Tasks are as follows:

l  UP-DATING IN HOUSE SAMPLE REGISTER

l  ARRANGING SAMPLE COURIER PARCELS TO CUSTOMERS & SUPPLIERS

l  MONITORING OF ALL SAMPLING PROGRAMMES

l  LIASING WITH CUSTOMERS AND SUPPLIERS

l  DIGITAL CAMERA WORK – SAMPLE CATALOGUE ETC

l  ARRANGING QC INSPECTIONS, LAB TESTING ETC

l  UP-DATING WEB SITE

l  GENERAL OFFICE DUTIES – WORD PROCESSING, RECEPTION / TELEPHONE ETC

l  DESIGN & QC INPUT
