Assistant Manager

STAFF WANTED FOR NEW STORE OPENING SOON –

Assistant Manager – 40 hours – the assistant manager must have experience at this level and have an ability to maximise sales along with being able to effectively manage the store in the managers absence.. The below qualities are essential.

•         Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge of our technical brands such as Berghaus and provide excellent customer service. They must also train the team in these areas.

•         Have merchandising ability.

•         Be able to deal with the turnover of high volumes of stock.

•         Delegate daily tasks and ensure they are completed to Company standards

•          Carry out additional duties when and where necessary within the defined levels of responsibility and accountability for their role

•          Ensure KPI’s are met on a weekly basis, i.e sales, wage budgets etc

•          Maintain high security levels on shop floor through vigilance of staff

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 12 months experience in management within the retail industry alongside strong interpersonal skills and the ability to organise and prioritise daily tasks.

Brands stocked – Berghaus, Lacoste, Ted Baker, Animal, Asics, Canterbury, Fenchurch, Fila, Kickers, K Swiss, Henry Lloyd, New Balance, Puffa, Boxfresh and Harvey and Jones….
