Our client provides brand management and customised garment solutions specific to clients needs. Established since 1990 and based in Manchester they have established an overseas production base in Asia, and the Far East, with an internal design, sourcing and sample development team.

Shipping Department, Merchandise Manager, Design Team, QC Manager and Managing Partners.
Office Support
Our Managing Partners employ a marketing & sales team to works every day on promoting and improving our business. The team uses a wide range of sales and marketing techniques while dealing with a great variety of responsibilities including promotion, improving the structure and contents of our websites as well as developing and maintaining customer and partner relations.
Job Function
Ownership and responsibility for New UK sales with the potential to have ownership and responsibility for all UK Sales, except specific house accounts held by the Managing Partners, possibly relinquished at a later date.
Understanding Expectations
Commission based sales plus basic salary.
Enter new markets, generate new business, manage existing markets, and take a practical approach to meet the business goals of the company.
Develop and manage sales in all UK Territories.
Ownership and responsibility for all sales activities in this territory
Performance management until the company has validated the sales performance.
The company does not sell nor hold stock, we manufacturer to order on lead times of 110 to 150 days
Resource capability of the business is rapidly expanding and growing

Job Description / Specification:
You will be dealing with all factory, supplier and customer approvals. You will be constantly monitoring the status of orders placed with factories, tracking and chasing approvals of fabrics, trims, labels and samples. You will be communicating directly with factories and suppliers, and overseeing every stage of order production.

q Minimum 4 years experience in sales role
q Proven experience of new business generation and establishing customer relationships

q Strong textile related background and specific experience in our business sectors
q Established contacts within the industry
q Ability to work in the company’s 3 sectors and other sectors

The Opportunity
Due to the flat management structure of the company, the candidate has an ability to influence the decision making process in markets targeted on a senior management level and ideas and systems put forward to enhance the companies direction and efficiency will be welcomed and rewarded.
The Future:
Subject to performance and management of accounts, we would like to see the development of the employee to Sales manager for the UK.
There is a medium to long term opening for a Sales Director position for the right individual who can show initiative and ownership of Sales and Marketing activities within the business. There is the potential for other incentive schemes, including share options in the future.
