Design Manager
CLOTHING TECHNICAL DESIGN MANAGER
Lingerie, Ladies Nightwear, Swimwear and Separates

Experienced Technical Manager is required by one of the UK’s leading lingerie retailers, due to the exciting expansion of the business. In this newly created role, you will report into the Product Director and will be responsible for you own technical and design team. You will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative solutions for an expanding clothing range.
The successful candidate must have gained experience from within retail head office and manufacturing and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. Experience in clothing design and production, and in particular bigger bra sizes, would be a distinct advantage. A knowledge of pattern cutting, grading and fabric technology; plus experience in managing and developing Far Eastern and European suppliers is key.
As you will be managing a team of c. 6, it is crucial that you are a leader with superb communication skills, and a proactive approach to work. This is a wonderful opportunity to work for a company that has won awards for being one of the best places to work in the UK for in 2009.
