Our client is a very successful casualwear retailer in UK and Internationally.  They are currently looking to strengthen the buying team but taking on a graduate with a fashion related degree and prefeably a year work placement within industry.

The role will involve the below:

Assisting with the raising of garment purchase orders & amendments & enter on to the AS400 system.

General office administration

Approving and sending out barcode information

Creating lab dip pallets

Responsible for raising salesman samples orders

Assisting with the maintenance of all aspects of critical path & progress as required by establishing good relationship with suppliers by fax and e-mail in relation to ordering of components and deliveries on time.

Work with and assist Garment Technologist in any area required to achieve the job function.

Approval of – salesman approval & PP samples as necessary
Approving Trims, Fabrics & tape testing using in house & external test centres
