Ecommerce Assistant

Our client is a successful fashion business with several fashion branded in its portfolio. They are currently looking for a creative individual who is hands on and self motivated. The successful applicant will create and manage the evolution of the e-commerce function, currently in its infancy, within the company.

The role will be varied and fast-paced and you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and upgrading new and existing websites. The chosen applicant will create a platform that allows them to maximise the potential of their brands online.

They are looking for someone who may have had a varied experience working with different projects and who has the ability to adapt themselves.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent web application and site development skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and suggest alternative web application solutions.
  • Ability to complete projects on a timely basis with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work with others as a team player.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong understanding of the web in general, internet services and databases.

Responsibilities will include

  • Create and manage websites in keeping with the Company's brand position, trading calendar and commercial requirements
  • Shop development and e-commerce
  • Develop EBay, Amazon and Face book as sales tools, building mini-shops where necessary.
  • Search engine optimization
  • Accommodate client requests and customer support
  • Handle photography using Photoshop and upload accurate product details to templates
  • Process orders and deliveries including returns and exchange requests

The role ideally suits a graduate or individual with 1-2yrs experience. This is an ideal position for a creative individual to work in a fast changing environment. An interest in the fashion industry would be beneficial.
