Our client is a supplier to the quality end of the high streets. We require an experienced and confident Senior Menswear Denim Jeans Designer who has dealing with high street buyers and overseas factories on a daily basis. You main role will involve:
§ Designing garments or ranges, working to product brief and target price points
§ Conduct design research, visit exhibitions, compile shop reports, internet/prediction information
§ Maintain awareness of fabric trends and sourcing interesting fabric ideas
§ Produce initial colour palettes Produce and present initial CAD illustration flatwork (drawings) to product buyers.
Our ideal candidate will have cad experience, knowledge and passion of denim and trims, ability and flair to be creative matched with excellent presentation and communication skills.
Must have 4 years plus experience. You will also travel to far east on a regular basis.
Salary: £22000 - £28000
