- Working with Retail Merchandise Planning to create effective pre-season category and assortment plans for standalone Bench Stores, concessions and e-commerce platforms
- To have principal responsibility for the initial selection of commercial product ranges for AIL retail fascias, working alongside retail merchandise planning and V.M to ensure the commercial success of the collections in preparation for sign –off by B&M Manager & Head of Retail.
- Working with AIL design team to develop additions to in-line ranges where necessary to enhance the AIL retail offer in store and to boost wholesale sales
- Working with Retail Merchandise Planning to drive sales and gross profit through effective OTB management, markdowns and tactical promotions
- To be fully aware of current and future fashion trends and competitor activity through frequent visits to relevant trade shows, regular visits to AIL and competitor’s stores.
- Regular liaison with AIL design and wholesale sales teams to share information about product performance and sales trends in AIL and competitor stores
