Casualwear Designer

Our client is a lifestyle casualwear supplier who are currently looking for an experienced designer with an awareness of current high-street trends, working in a fast-paced and challenging environment to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of garment construction, fabrics and trims, with strong graphic design skills. You will have significant experience using Illustrator and be comfortable editing artwork and manipulating fonts.

Reporting into the Senior Designer, you will be building seasonal ranges, across a broad range of products including Menswear, Childrenswear, Ladieswear, and Accessories. Knowledge of garment construction is essential as you will be responsible for building accurate and detailed tech packs which specify everything from fabrics and trims, to print, embroidery and appliqué techniques.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years commercial experience in fashion design.
• Strong graphic design skills
• Excellent skills on Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
• Up-to-date knowledge of high-street trends
