Shopping Centre Manager for Boxpark Shoreditch - £32K + Bonus

5 days/week including weekends

Boxpark, the world’s first pop-up mall opens its doors in December 2011.

Based on a 4.7 hectare site in Shoreditch and made up of 60 customised shipping containers, Boxpark will house brands like Nike, Diesel, Lacoste L!ve, Levi’s, The North Face and Vans, as well as food and beverage outlets.

To manage this stunning new retail environment, Boxpark now requires an outstanding Centre Manager to play a leading role in the development and smooth running of the mall.

Reporting to the CEO you will be responsible for:

• Liaising with tenants and dealing with any issues and emergencies
• Contributing to the marketing strategy to drive footfall and average spend
• Effective day-to-day management of the on-site team
• Contract management of cleaning, security, maintenance, waste etc
• Monitoring and managing health and safety systems
• Sourcing best value and implementing cost savings
• Creating a positive image and environment and enhancing all working relationships

The successful candidate will be a confident, articulate and highly-motivated person with a proven track record in managing a shopping centre/large retail environment.

You will have excellent people skills, a commercial approach and be able to build and manage tenant relationships. In addition you will be energetic, highly-ambitious and have a real desire to contribute to the success of this ground-breaking retail development.
