Web Designer – Skills and Experience:

Candidates will possess a creative degree or related and have a minimum of a year’s commercial experience.  In addition to this the following skills are required:

• Adobe suite (PC)
• Knowledge of w3c guidelines
• HTML/5
• CSS/3
• CSS sprites
• Cross browser testing
• Image optimisation
• Understanding of page layouts and whitespace
• Jquery

The following skills are not required but will be of benefit:

• Illustrations
• Photography
• Offline graphic design, specifically logo design and branding
• Flash
• Wireframe development
• Information architecture
• Email design
• Mobile web site design
• WCAG guidelines
• Client facing
