Profile Biography
Manchester Fashion Network and London Fashion Network.
The Fashion Network was founded in 2006 to provide monthly business
network events for the fashion industry. Based in Manchester, the aim is
to bring industry professionals together to listen and question panels
of experts in their field.
In 2008 the London Fashion Network was formed to increase opportunities
for everyone in the industry to get together and share knowledge each
month.
Our website links people within the industry through our directory of
individuals and businesses, CV bank and jobs listings, daily articles,
blogs, and street snaps.
Through the extensive list of contacts we have developed, we can now
provide bespoke events and PR support for anyone wanting to tap into the
North West.
My Role:
Events:
Head up all business networking events. We aim to bring everyone from
all levels of the industry together to share knowledge and network.
Digital:
Content management, overseeing editorial, digital marketing and the
development of the fashion network sites. I also oversee all social
media interaction and strategy which is created by our team for our own
sites and clients.
Retail:
Run monthly Sample Sales for brands and agents looking to sell past
season samples. We also organise and manage stand alone sales and pop up
shops for brands.
The Network:
Manage network memberships and the facilities available to members including job listings.
